Interviews: Lê Quan Ninh Answers Our Audio Profile Questions
We were extremely grateful to Lê Quan Ninh for agreeing to be our first Audio Profile subject. In addition to graciously allowing us to make his 11/11/00 performance available on Allsound, Lê Quan has also been kind enough to participate in a short interview. Our questions are focused around the performance spotlighted in the Audio Profile, and his answers cover a wide amount of ground. I hope you enjoy the interview, and find it as interesting and revealing of Lê Quan's personality as I did!

A couple of weeks back, we offered the readers of Allsound the opportunity to interview japanese electronic/noise artist Aube. We presented him with the questions during his recent stay here in Detroit, and he obliged us by briefly answering them all.
Thanks again to all those that participated, and thanks to Akifumi Nakajima for taking the time out of his visit to respond. Read on for the full interview.

Interviews: Q. R. Ghazala - Behind the Circuit Bending (image-free version)
We're very happy to unveil our first interview here on Allsound, and especially happy that the interview is with musical and visual artist Q. R. Ghazala. Best known as the founder of the art of circuit bending, the creative shortcircuiting of existing instruments, toys and electronic devices (which can produce beautiful and unexpected sonic results), Ghazala has written extensively on both the practical and theoretical aspects of this art. Ghazala graciously agreed to an indepth discussion with us via email, and has also supplied us with a wide variety of illustrative images. Read on for the full interview, where we discuss the context of Ghazala's work, the interactions between disciplines, artists, machines, compositions and much more. (High-bandwidth readers may want to read the full image version.)
