XLN Audio Ballad Grooves MIDI Pak: Ballad Rhythms For Addictive Drums

Ballads, as the populus may know, provide some of the most relaxing and romantic music the entire world has known. Much of the drive behind ballads is in the way it grooves. XLN Audio Ballad Grooves MIDI Pak provides the rhythmic backing for that relaxing ballad you've ben hearing in your head.
Ballad Grooves MIDI Pak is a collection that contains 120 MIDI files divided between 15 different ballad grooves in different tempos and feels. Al of these grooves have been recorded in time signatures of 4/4 and 6/8, all recorded live by a drummer.
Ballad Grooves MIDI Pak features seven variations for each groove e.g. hi-hat, ride, sidestick, tambourine specials, and others. Using the grooves, songwriters can produce their own ballad drum tracks within just a couple of minutes and can be used with Addictive Drums.
Being that this new collection comes from XLN Audio, it's not surprising that Ballad Grooves MIDI Pak is designed for use with Addictive Drums. Users at this point should be aware that Addictive Drums does not follow general MIDI drum mapping, and that this collection of MIDI files will only sound correctly when used with Addictive Drums. Registered users, however, can download the MIDI files (Addictive Drums mapping) from their XLN account for use with third-party software. In other words, XLN Audio is saying that if you don't wish to do any extensive MIDI re-mapping or editing, don't bother using any other drum replacer except Addictive Drums.
