Lectrosonics Quadpack Receiver Dock: Wireless Multiplicity
Posted on Sunday, April 11 @ 00:00:00 CDT by admin

Tools and Hardware As people realize the immense value that wireless systems can provide, the demand for multiple wireless receivers has increased. As most of these wireless systems have its audience in live and touring applications, something robust, compact, is needed. The new Lectrosonics Quadpack Receiver Dock helps set up multiple wireless receivers in a considerably small, lightweight, and rugged package.

The Quadpack Receiver Dock is designed to house and facilitate installation of two SRa Series Dual Channel Digital Hybrid Wireless® compact receivers on the same or different frequency blocks. As the name implies, it can therefore provide up to four audio channels that are specifically designed for portable mixing bag use.

The front panel of the Quadpack Receiver Dock accepts the standard SRa or SRa5P variant that provides audio outputs on the front panel of the receiver for cameras that only have a single audio input in the slot. Its left side is equipped with four full-sized XLR outputs while the right side has four TA3M mini XLRs. Users can install receivers in two slots through the SRUNI Unislot adapter.

The Lectrosonics Quadpack Receiver Dock is housed in an aluminium casing with a durable powder-coat finish. The unit can be powered through external DC ranging 7 to 18V through an LZR locking connector or through a four-pin Hirose connector at the unit's right side. The Quadpack will be available in three versions: a "low" version covering blocks 470 to 26, "mid" at 21 to 29, and "high" covering 25 to 33.

Pricing and availability of the Lectrosonics Quadpack Receiver Dock is TBA.
