Many guitarists would like to be able to nail how Jimi Hendrix sounds and plays. His unique blues-tinged sensibilities and impressive sound is legendary in guitar circles. While it may be difficult to acquire his unique playing sensibility, Elite Tone now provides a way to get close to the Hendrix sound with a new pedal called Fillmore Thunder.
Fillmore Thunder is a two-channel ring modulator/fuzz pedal. It is equipped with a four-knob silicon Fuzz Face circuit with a set of classic BC-108 vintage transistors.
Fillmore Thunder is a two-stage effect, the most notable sound of which is the octave portion of the circuit. This circuit is designed to reproduce the "steel drum" pinging sound found in songs such as "Who Knows?", one of the tracks in Jimi Hendrix's "Live at the Fillmore East" album. The design of the pedal results in what Elite Tone calls a liquid, natural and smooth octave-up sound.
FEATURES:
- Engineered and constructed all by hand
- True by-pass
- Two fully analog and independent pedals in one box
- Battery included
- 2.1-mm diameter DC jack adapter (like boss style etc.…)
- Extremely low ambient noise ( Not audible with effect full on and strings muted in many cases)
- LED On/Off indicator
The Elite Tone Fillmore Thunder Pedal is a limited release and has an MSRP of 177.00 USD.
