Grover Pro Percussion Introduces New SilverFox Models
Posted on Thursday, April 08 @ 00:00:00 CDT by admin

Tools and Hardware Sticks and mallets are important to drummers and percussionists just as bows and mouthpieces are important to string and wind players. As most of us should know by now, these percussion players need different sticks and beaters for various purposes and functionalities. Offering more choices for today's percussionist, Grover Pro Percussion reveals two new models from the SilverFox line of sticks and mallets.

First of the new two SilverFox sticks is the "Nitestalk" (MSRP 30.00). The "Nitestalk" is a 16" long multi-rod that bears 25 bristles secured to a 5/8"-diameter high-impact plastic handle. The Nitestalk is designed to have a natural feel on both drums and cymbals. For added means of expression, the feel and flexibility of the Nitestalk's bristles can be adjusted with a firmness adjustment band and is thus fitting for warm and fat sound requirements.

For high impact, the second new SilverFox model called the "Thrasher" (MSRP 15.00 USD) fits the bill. It is a "beefy" double ended stick with a length of 16.5" and a diameter of 0.605 and constructed out of select grade 1 straight-grained hickory. To enhance grip and durability, the Thrasher is coated with a "Duracrylix" finish. Designed in collaboration with Mark Castillo, drummer for the upcoming group "Bury Your Dead", the Thrasher will appeal to heavy metal drummers and other musicians looking for a high-impact stick.
