Roland HD-1: V-Drum Kit For The Masses

Let's all face it: Despite lusting after various incarnations of V-Drums from Roland, a majority would have to agree that these instruments don't come in cheap. On the other hand, not everybody has enough room to accommodate a full V-Drums kit. It seems like the solution to quiet non-disruptive drumming is out of reach. Roland now has its latest attempt to address those concerns by issuing the new Roland HD-1.
The Roland HD-1 V-Drums is as basic as it can get. Having just a snare pad, three tom pads, a hi-hat trigger, two cymbal triggers, a hi-hat pedal controller, and a kick beater, its simple appearance can fool anyone into thinking that this is just a small kit with a few capabilities. It's good to note that the power it contains lies in its simplicity.
The HD-1 is crafted using the same technology that exists in the other V-Drums. It boasts of being incredibly quiet, thanks to the newly designed kick beater as well as the cushioned tom heads and snare pad. All of the HD-1's components are mounted on a single rack and stand, and therefore using it is as simple as taking it out of the box and playing immediately.
FEATURES:
- Easy set-up and operation
- Compact and stylish design
- Great sounds with a variety of kits
Pricing and availability of the Roland HD-1 are TBA.
