To bring out something new, one has to look into something old. That statement is universal; so universal in fact that it's cliché. No matter how cliché that statement gets, the principle of it is used every day and is evident in today's music trends. As far as electronic dance music is concerned, the love for anything vintage hasn't ceased as evidenced by the new Loopmasters Vintage Breaks Vol. 1.
Vintage Breaks Vol. 1 was developed by Loopmasters content partner Industrial Strength as a sample library that features early electronic dance music breaks. This is a collection of breaks derived from a 1960s Ludwig drum kit similar to the one used in the famous "Amen" break.
Vintage Breaks Vol. 1 has been described by Loopmasters as a must-have for production of DnB, Funky Breaks, Dub Step, Techno, and other electronic music genres that make use of the hundreds of derivatives from classic drum breaks such as from "Amen, Brother". The package has 380 original license-free samples that have been performed by underground New York drummer Evan Pazner.
