    Tregan Guitars Artist Series to Be Released By March 2010

    Tools and Hardware Tregan Guitars were among those who were present at Winter NAMM 2010. The trade show itself bore witness to the announcement of the release of the Tregan Guitars Artist Series scheduled for March 2010. About to kick things off by March, two new models called the SyrenXT Sphynx Edition and the Shaman Skunk Mod will be the first to be released. Both guitars will bear cool graphics, pickups by Seymour Duncan and TV Jones, and upgraded wiring and added features.

    The first model in the Artist Series called SyrenXT Sphynx Edition is equipped with two TV Jones Power'Tron Pickups, Floyd Rose Licensed Tremolo, and "Sphynx Bat" graphics designed by Sphynx of Xno. The TV Jones Power'Tron Pickups provide that humbucker sound suitable for really aggressive distorted sounds. It also has a push/pull coil tap function that changes the pickup configuration into single coils. The 24 frets of its fingerboard can be easily accessed care of the Tregan Guitars fast neck and deep cutouts. Lastly, it is also wired with a switched output jack and a 9V battery compartment for those who would like to have active pickup upgrades.

    The Shaman Skunk Mod was designed and modified by Tregan Guitars owner Tony Guarriello for Skunk Manhattan (guitarist for "A Good Rogering"). This versatile guitar player needed a design that would fit his versatility hence the Skunk Mod was born. This guitar features the mahogany body and neck of Shaman Standard but adds in more features the TB4 bridge pickup and SH-2 neck pickup combination from Seymour Duncan, a graphite nut and black pickups, and coil taps to split the humbuckers into single coils.
