    Peavey PXD Series Bass Guitars: New Low-Ended Additions

    Tools and Hardware Peavey's award-winning PXD Series of instruments has just inducted new members into its roster. This time, this series in including two bass guitars into the fold: the Tragic 4 and Void 4. Just like all its brethren in the PXD Series, the Tragic 4 and Void 4 exhibit the same design that captures the aggression and attitude of modern-day metalheads.

    As the numbers would suggest, the PXD Series Tragic 4 and Void 4 are four-string bass guitars. These instruments have a neck-through-body construction built with an alder body, maple neck, and ebony fretboard. Both bass guitars sport a pair of Peavey VFL active pickups for impressive tonal control via an active three-band EQ with ± 10 dB boost and cut.

    Tragic 4:
    • 34" scale with 22 jumbo frets
    • Two Peavey VFL™ active pickups
    • Volume control with pickup blend

    • Available in Matte Black, Gloss black, Gloss Red or Gloss White

    Void 4:

    Both the Tragic 4 and Void 4 will be available in matte black with brushed-aluminum-finish pickguard, gloss black, gloss white, and gloss red finishes. The Peavey PXD Series bass guitars will become available by first quarter of 2010.
