If you happen to be the frugal guitarist, you probably have thought about making use of other items found around the house as picks. It could either be coins ala Brian May, an expired credit card, or a ruined plastic ruler. In such a light, this could be considered recycling, putting junk into good use. Well, Reprotone Inc. has gone towards a step way bigger than yours as they are now introducing a line of guitar picks that have been made from reprocessed post-consumer materials.
Reprotone Inc.'s new guitar picks are made from reprocessed raw materials. You read that right; all of their raw materials are 100% recycled. As examples, the Reprotone Inc. "100% Shag - PA66" picks are made entirely from 100& recycled nylon carpet fibers, the "Re-PETE" picks are made from 100% recycled P.E.T.E., and their "Copperhead" picks are made out of copper-filled nylon.
Reprotone Inc.'s picks are available in 0.50 mm, 0.75 mm, and 1.00 mm thicknesses. Given the versatility of materials they are using for guitar picks, Reprotone Inc. believes they've got every guitar player covered from those who would like to have light strummers to the more aggressive ones wanting more mass and weight to pack. Reprotone Inc. accepts bulk orders of their picks with pricing depending on material as well as the option for custom engraving.
